As per the weather department, some regions may experience light rain and snowfall today. Arunachal Pradesh and the Western Himalayan regions might witness precipitation and snowfall on March 7. The mountainous states have been witnessing snowfall for the past few days.
Delhi Weather Update
In Delhi, the minimum temperature today is expected to be around 9 degrees Celsius, while the maximum may reach 25 degrees Celsius. The IMD predicts that Delhi will continue to have partly cloudy skies today.
States with Rainfall Alert Today
According to the IMD, on March 7, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand may experience light rain and snowfall. Several other parts of the country have also been issued rain warnings for the day. Additionally, there is a possibility of rain in Rayalseema and Kerala over the next two days.
Snowfall Warning
The IMD has indicated the possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on March 6 and 7. A fresh Western Disturbance affecting the Western Himalayan region is expected from the night of March 10, 2024. During March 10 to 12, there is an apprehension of light rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

Himachal Pradesh has been issued a warning regarding a storm with thunder and lightning at different locations on March 7. Odisha may witness scattered rainfall between March 6 and 9, and West Bengal and Sikkim may experience intermittent showers from March 6 to 8. Strong winds are also likely in these regions.
