WhatsApp continually introduces new features to enhance user experience, and this time is no different. The company has brought forth a feature that users might find quite appealing. This new feature is called “Disable Link Preview.” WhatsApp had recently tested this feature, and now it is rolling out for users.

WhatsApp is soon introducing a feature called “Disable Link Preview.” With this new feature, users’ privacy and security will be further strengthened. WhatsApp has always claimed to prioritize user privacy, and thus, it regularly introduces features aimed at maintaining it.

Your Location Will Remain Secure As per the report

WhatsApp will not share your location with anyone through this new feature. You can choose to hide your location by accessing WhatsApp’s privacy settings. Within the privacy settings, users will find an option called “Advance Name.” Upon selecting this option, users will be presented with two choices: one to secure their IP address during calls, and the other to enable “Disable Link Preview.” Enabling this option will prevent any third party from tracking your location.

Identification Through Color To utilize both of these WhatsApp features, users need to click on the toggle displayed on the side. If the toggle appears green, it indicates activation. Conversely, if it appears gray, it signifies deactivation.
