According to reports from Sacnilk, “Yodha” managed to collect only 4.25 crore on its opening day. The film revolves around Sidharth Malhotra’s character, who confronts terrorists while off duty. However, hopes are still high for a surge in collections over the weekend. In addition to “Yodha,” another film, “Bastar The Naxal Story,” starring Ada Sharma, has also made its way to theaters. Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Shah, the film depicts the political drama surrounding the Naxalite insurgency in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh.
Furthermore, several films, including the mystery thriller “Murder Mubarak,” starring Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and Suhaib Nayar, were released on OTT platforms on March 15th.
Despite the lukewarm response to its opening day collections, “Yodha” still has the potential to pick up momentum in the coming days, depending on audience reception and word-of-mouth reviews. Only time will tell whether it manages to live up to the expectations set for it in the long run.
