Resolution Reached in Air India Express Controversy, Termination of 25 Crew Members Reversed, Employees to Return to Work Soon

The long-standing dispute between the management and the union of Air India Express has finally come to an end. The decision to withdraw the termination letters issued to 25 crew members by the airline has been made. Additionally, after more than 250 employees went on sick leave, they are now expected to return to their jobs soon. A meeting was held between the management and performance-oriented crew members of Air India Express on Thursday afternoon to resolve the issue.

On Thursday, more than 85 flights were canceled due to the problems faced by the crew members of Air India Express. This cancellation had particularly affected flights to Gulf countries. According to reports, in the last two days, nearly 300 crew members had decided to go on sick leave.

Big Decision by Air India

Air India Express, a subsidiary of the Tata Group-owned airline, had sent termination letters to 25 crew members, creating a tense atmosphere within the company. However, after a day-long meeting, the company decided to withdraw the termination letters. According to information, this meeting took place at the office of the Chief Labor Commissioner (CLC) and involved discussions between the employee union of Air India Express and representatives of the company’s management.

Facility to Return to Work with Health Certificate

After the dispute between the main airline company Air India Express and its crew members, it has been decided that a meeting will be held again on May 28th to discuss the issues in detail. It has also been decided that members of the operating team who have gone on sick leave due to illness will be allowed to return to work with a health certificate. With this decision, efforts are being made to resolve the dispute so that there is no inconvenience to the flights in any way.
