Exam on June 18: It’s important to note that the UGC NET 2024 examination was initially scheduled to be held on June 16. However, due to clashes with the UPSC Preliminary Examination date, the exam date has been rescheduled to June 18, 2024. The examination will be conducted for 83 subjects. Candidates will be given a chance to make corrections in their already filled applications. The correction window for candidates will be open from May 13 to May 15, 2024, during which they can rectify any mistakes.

Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay a certain application fee to fill out the UGC NET 2024 forms. This fee varies according to different categories of candidates. For General category candidates, the application fee is ₹1150, for OBC candidates, it is ₹600, and for SC/ST/Transgender candidates, it is ₹325.
